MD Helicopters MD-900/902N NOTAR ZK-IYN 24/11/19

I had  a busy day yesterday, I went out to Ardmore with the intentions of catching ZK-DSY (an Embraer Navajo). After a cold early morning the sun came out (and I ended up sunburnt, whoops!) and I caught this by HeliFlite's hangar.

Owned & operated by Rotor Force NZ Ltd it is the first of two (the other being IOT owned by Rotor Force as well). No clue if it was here for maintenance or what.
I might post the Embraer next, that or the Remos and Druines I saw (ZK-REM and -CFY respectively).

N160PA - The first NZ based Blackhawk (Quick Fix)

N160PA begins it's history as 86-24572 (US Army Aviation), but was later retired and became a civilian EH-60A Quick Fix (roughly around August last year).
Then this year it was imported to NZ by Kāhu Helicopters Ltd.
Where it spent some time in Ardmore getting some mods and flew out to NZWK (Whakātane Airport) on June 15 2019.

Seen here getting ready to depart (Jun. 5 19).
Apologies for the rather short post. I'll hopefully be able to give a longer post soon.

The beginning

Hello and welcome to my blog! I decided to make this because seeing as I spend so much time on other social media platforms documenting the history of the aircraft I shoot (as best I can). I felt I needed a place to centralise all my quote un quote 'research'.

We'll start with helicopters as I have few photos of them. ZK-IMC (MBB-Kawasaki BK117-C1) was formerly JA291F with Fukui Air Rescue Services and nicknamed 'Blue Arrow'. It was exported to the Russian Federation (26/09/18) and became RA-07257.
 Tomorrow I'll post N160PA's history.
